Ashley, a native of Birmingham, AL, found her passion for dance as a young girl. A self-taught dancer who began dancing at A.G. Gaston Boys and Girls Club and continued dance throughout grade school. When she reached high school, she became a part of the marching band auxiliary flag line, where she later served as captain. After high school, Ashley attended Tuskegee University and became a part of her college basketball dance team, where she performed Jazz and Hip-Hop dance styles. Ashley also formed a praise dance ministry at the college church she attended, and was able to create and teach dance to all age groups. She was later granted the opportunity to choreograph and lead dance performances for high school and elementary school programs within the area until she graduated. Ashley founded flA.S.H. Movementz LLC in May of 2020, to create a space to dance freely and without judgement, in order for participants to simply have fun, learn, and appreciate the art of dance. During the Spring of 2022, Ashley obtained her Performing Arts certification from New York University TISCH Program.
