Faith Robinson

Dance Instructor

Faith Robinson was born a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She began her dance journey as a freestyler that lead into praise dancing at her church, and fostered her growth as a versatile dancer. She became self taught in Hip-Hop and began training in Jazz as part of Spain Park’s High School dance team. Faith furthered her dance career at The University of Alabama (UA) where she joined the Rip Tide Hip-Hop team and later became an instructor on campus. She began traveling to Atlanta to train on a more professional level by Aliya Janell and Aryan Davenport. From this training and experience, she helped create the first weekly Heels class on UA’s campus teaching technique, confidence, and style. In addition to that, she helped create UA’s first Heels dance organization called “Laced and Laced Heels” - an organization open to male and female dancers seeking training to further their dance career. While teaching the team, she continued to teach heels around the Tuscaloosa area and came back to Birmingham to continue dance as a live performer. She danced at multiple events around the city and performed with local artists. Her first role as a professional dancer was for The World Games of 2022 performing with the artists such as Sheila E, Tony, Toni, Tone, Bootsy Collins, and Pastor Mike Jr.
